I ordered the Praline Pound Cake because I love pecan pralines. The cake was not what I expected. It was a lot smaller than i expected and it only had an OK flavor. We ate it, but I will not buy another one. I will stick with the pralines. I will say I ordered it on Saturday and it arrived on Monday, so shipping was not an issue.

Apparently I ordered my cake a day too late to receive before Christmas, which was when I wanted it. However, I did receive it just after Christmas and by the time we got to try it, it had become dryer than I anticipated. I've always loved everything I've purchased from River Street, whether by mail or in person, so I think this was just timing. I will try a cake again before making any judgment. :)
