UPS Ground Shipping is just $8.95 per address, regardless of what you send.
All Military addresses (APO, FPO etc.) receive Free Ground Shipping automatically as we strive to support our hard working troops.

Express and Ground Services

Do Not Include Weekends or Holidays. All packages are shipped from River Street Sweets in Savannah, Georgia. If you would like your order to be delivered via Express, we use UPS. The Express Delivery Charges are paid in addition to the standard charges and are PER ITEM that the upgrade is applied to.

Warm Weather / Summer Shipments

Special shipping and handling will be required for all chocolate shipments May through September and will be an additional $6 per address. Shipping is restricted to Monday - Thursday to avoid weekend transit. Please call 1-800-793-3876 or view our Warm Weather Shipping Policy page for more information.

Special shipping for delicate items

Some of our items are more delicate than others. For this reason, our site will automatically adjust the shipping method for these items. In the event that additional adjustments are needed, we will reach out to you personally to verify the details of the shipment. Please refer to the details below for specific items.

Layer cakes, pound cakes and pies: When the temperatures in our area exceed a certain threshold, our layer cakes, cheesecakes and iced cake samplers will require an express upgrade for an additional charge. During the rest of the year, these items ship via a Bakery Express upgrade as needed for the destination, and may arrive separately from the rest of your order. Layer cakes and pies ship inside a specially made shipping cooler with dry ice. Please follow the unpacking instructions provided with these deliveries for proper handling. We do not allow Layer Cakes to be in transit over a weekend so please select a ship date that falls Monday – Thursday or we may need to ship the following Monday. Thursday ship dates will require Next Day Air for delivery on Friday year round.

Apples: From May - end of September, all Apple orders are automatically upgraded to Express due to perishability and will ship separately from the rest of your order in specially made coolers. In the fall and winter, apples can ship ground. Apples cannot ship to PO boxes, Military addresses, Alaska, and Hawaii

Military, Alaska and Hawaii addresses

Some of our items are not able to be shipped to military or non continental addresses due to their perish-ability. These include Cakes, Pies and Apples. We would be happy to assist in choosing the right gift for your destination so that it arrives in perfect condition. While residing in Savannah, River Street Sweets were always available, always tasty, and always a friendly and warm staff. Having relocated to Richmond it is a 'local treasure' sweetly missed. The option was to purchase on-line and delivered when we wanted. As always, the pralines are delicious . . . almost worth the 7 hr drive back to Savannah. So, we'll just be happy knowing we still can receive and enjoy our sweet part of Savannah
